Therapy Services
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
In individual therapy, I help people move past their limiting beliefs and fears toward their preferred life. I support clients to unlock their potential, facilitating a deeper understanding of oneself that leads to greater satisfaction.
We’ll work to understand how you can live according to your own values, rather than from a place of emotional reactivity. I encourage clients to have more compassion for themselves and others, letting go self-judgment and negative voices. Working collaboratively, I’ll take your lead, making sure you feel seen and understood.
I can help with:
Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions
Relationships Issues, Attachment Wounds
Feeling Stuck (doing the same thing over and over)
Self-esteem Issues, Perfectionism, Self-Doubt, Overthinking
Looking to understand oneself more deeply, gain self-awareness and knowledge
Building Emotional Resilience
Figuring out who you are and what you want
People Pleasing
COUPLES THERAPY
Nothing is more important in our lives than our relationships. Relationships both challenge us and have the capacity to give us great satisfaction, pleasure, and nourishment. I work with couples to create and maintain greater love and health in their relationship.
Together we will address and manage conflict, overcome gridlock, build communication skills, trust and commitment, and learn skills and techniques to love better. I encourage a We /Us mentality instead of a You vs. Me mentality, so that you can build more unity and harmony in your relationship.
Depending on your needs, I meet with couples together, and at times, if needed, with each person individually.
FAMILY THERAPY
I believe problems can't be successfully solved without understanding the dynamics of the group. It’s common for families to get stuck in repetitive patterns that no longer serve them. They may not be adaptive to the current life cycle or stage of the family. In family therapy, relationships are the target of intervention. When relational problems improve, family members are freer to access their own strengths and resources to help one another heal.
I can help with:
Understanding where relationships in the family get stuck
Uncovering patterns of interaction
Encouraging understanding and empathy within the family system
Preventing/healing estrangement or cutting off family relationships
Parenting challenges
Failure to launch
Managing family relationships after separation and divorce
Short-term therapy for families with adult children
DISCERNMENT THERAPY
Discernment Therapy is for couples who are unsure whether they want to stay in the relationship or not. Discernment Therapy is a brief, structured approach to help couples determine their next step in the relationship: continuing the relationship as-is, seeking couples therapy, or separation/divorce.
I meet with couples together, as well as with each person individually, for a maximum of 6 sessions.
